Whenever I close my doors... My dome light stays on for 30 seconds or so...
I don't like it
Is it something I'm going to have to try and convice the dealership to get rid of, or can I do that myself?

Push "IN" the DOME OVERRIDE and then leave it alone. The lights will NOT turn on at all except from the dash dimmer switch. It's part of the security system built in to the car. And 30 seconds of light drain on the battery won't hurt it. Most GM's do this and have been doing it for at least 8-10 years.

The dealership can only program with the sets provided them. It is not like LS1 edit where you choose the options. The Tech2 is a neat tool , but can not just edit each parameter.
I am not positive, but i do not think the Tech2 will re-flash the BCM. I think it will flash the PCM only. You may have to go to Delphi to have a BCM programming interface.
