Spare parts from ThunderII
Everything I had saved up is now for sale. The treasure chest is open. I will do my best to ship the least expensive method. If we can find a ride for them, or you want to pick the stuff up in person, we can save shipping charges.

$15 should get them there.
Look through and make sure there is nothing else you might need. I'd just like for this stuff to find a new home. I am very close to cleaning out the garage and getting rid of it all.

I am getting really close to dropping all this off at my local auto recycler. I will give it all to someone local and help you load it up.

I wonder if the steering gear box would work in my Tahoe if it's still around? Mine is about kaput.

Re: Spare parts from ThunderII
It might. Do a little research to see if the stock box off of a 2001 S-10 crew cab is the same as yours. A call to your local salvage yard might do the trick. While there ask what a good box might cost. That local box might be cheaper than shipping costs? Shipping would be a killer. No way that will fit in a flat rate box.

Re: Spare parts from ThunderII
Looks like different part numbers so probably not worth trying, RockAuto the box is around $400 plus core charge, local sealership wanted $800 to replace guess I will keep running for now. It still work just getting really sloppy and leaking some. I really wish I could have picked up the $500 parts only wreck this spring that would have given me tons of spare parts.Ah well will keep looking

Glad you got logged in again! Also happy that those seat covers found a good home. I really hated to trash them! You'll never know just how close that came. I sure am glad that I hauled them down to the warehouse instead.Jongo88 wrote:
