The one I made brought my mpg from 13 to 15 but i took it out and cut off the pre-cat and my mpg went to 16-17. So i guess it worked. Not really as much as i wanted but it was an improvement. Mine was small too, I bet the big one above works really well.

Just installed the new actuator and I've got the same problem as before. The cable seems to be a bit too long and the actuator can't seem to pull it all the way in. I have to give a little push to pull it all the way in but the diff. still will not engage. Ideas?

Well I took the pre-cat out today... it looked clean to me. I guess the clamps i put on to hold the new pipe aren't air tight because it sounds like a POS. I'll have to fix that and see if my mileage is any better but what else could cause such poor mileage?

Problem solved. There is i guess a solenoid where the positive cables go to, under the battery tray. One nut was loose half a turn. Tightened it up and everything's fine.

Today I replaced the wiring with a thicker gauge. I drove about 10 miles to the gas station with my hydrogen cell on. My tank was about half full but when I calculated my mpg I saw improvement. I had bad stains on my truck and windows from our well water. Mothers wax did a great job taking it off the paint but didn't do as well on the windows. So i used a dab of toilet bowl cleaner. :lol: They look brand new :D

I had this problem before and i forget if it went away by itself or when i got an alignment but its back now. I think it could be one of the brakes is hitting harder than the other or possibly something to do with my torsion bars.

I've got it all back together now and still cannot get the diff to engage without pulling the cable by hand. The actuator is clearly working. There has to be a way the tighten the cable.

i drained the diff, took the 3 bolts out holding on where the cable enters, I've come to the conclusion that i can lock the diff in if i pull the cable by hand. Well i was side swiped in the left rear and it wasnt that hard plus i offroad pretty hard so i dont think it was from the accident. And thanks for the instructions. The pictures arent there anymore though. Ill jack up the truck tomorrow and see what i can do.

When i got my truck fixed after an accident the shop told me the motor mounts are broken and i need to replace them. I've looked a few time and cant see the mounts. Could someone take a picture for me? and how easy are they to replace?

i got another autozone pump the other day because they couldnt do refunds without a manager and i need my truck. it runs now but this time it isnt getting as much fuel as it should. my 5th pump and this is the first time its done this new. what is the chance it could be the regulator?

in drive both back wheels spin and the front driveshaft spins but the front wheels do nothing. i can spin them freely in 2 or 4wd. i hear something like a quiet binding front the front but only if i put my head close to the wheel well.

I installed 4 gabriel shocks in my uncles f250 today and i have to say they are some nice shocks. as far as quality, performance they are right up there with bilstein. they look a lot better too. anyone have a say about them? in a lineup where would you rank them?
