I decided this week to update an old favorite. Ruger 10/22 turned FN P90 is on order.

Re: Anyone interested in Firearms and/or Edged Weapons?

If a hammer spring is worn or too light you'll get light strikes. This one is a factory rated poundage for the double action only variant so it is factory weight and will ignite primers without issue. The trigger spring is just trigger return and has no ill effect on hammer weight. If you were in ne...

Re: ABS light

The sensors are known for failure due to corrosion. It is the entire hub assembly. I had that issue and the ABS would come on with bad timing. I pulled the fuse to it. No ABS, stops quick, no annoyance.

Re: Wheel bearing #4

04crewvt, we're not far apart, I have 86k or so on all 4, all original. One does have a bad abs sensor, corrosion. I would go with stock acdelco for those, seem to last okay, other than the sensors which i just pulled the fuse. Stops pretty well without.

Re: Hootz 2003 SEMA crew cab

I must say its really awesome to see this truck end up in the hands of someone who will actually drive it and care for it! Too cool to see these rigs actually get used after a life of show. Its all too often they are forgotten and left to rot and or be crushed after their show usefulness is over. I ...

Everything was in operable shape. We put it back together, still dumped out the overflow???? We lifted the overflow hose up ab...

Scooter Repair

I was volunteered to fix the wife's cousin's scooter. It's 49cc and here's the issue: Starts up, runs for a couple seconds, then dies out and dumps fuel out the overflow. When left to sit for a minute, it will then start back up and do the same thing all over again. I haven't had much of a chance to...
