I am looking to keep in the same track as well, according to my track widths I need 1" in the front and 1.5" in the back to line it up within .1" of space. That way I can also clear wider tires in the future.

Those of you that have the 1.5" spacers, where did you get them? completevalue on ebay does not sell the 1.5s only 1.25 and 2". I do like the design of their spacers, hubcentric and wheelcentric and a large OD. I am looking to get 1.5s for the rear but am having difficulty finding them.

A quick update, the AD244 is compatible with the March underdrive pulleys as long as you have the one to speed up the alt back to stock. I have had no issues with charging. I know I had seen a thread on zr2usa about underdrive pulleys and Ad244 saying they would not work together, well here is proof...

$600 overall?? Thats not bad in my mind. I would pay that. I have pretty much ruled out the body lift due to the amount of rust and corrosion on my rig I would not be able to do it, a shop would have a hard time but when they break parts I don't have to pay :lol:

Sometimes it does not start right away, I actually have to touch the gas a bit. So this may be a good add to turn over quicker. I cannot justify paying a lot of money but I have found the new Street Fire for $180 shipped with the harness. That might be worth it.

Well I guess I'll close my eyes and point to one... After install would removing torque management be ok to do? I want to take full advantage of the hardware but not kill my tranny. Should I just drop a little of it or none at all or all of it?

And to add to my post from last night, the underdrive pulleys work fine with the AD244. Not ideal I'm sure but it does turn at stock speeds and keeps higher voltage under stress better than the stock alt did.

Front is the same and would work fine. Rear however is different and you might be able to cut and make them fit but I don't know how much material they have on them. I'm sure someone else can chime in.

Well I found the StreetFire at Autozone today for only $146. Not too bad, guess I'll order that and the harness. Considering the 6al is $220 the StreetFire is cheap. It is also much more compact and most likely will run at lower temps and require less power. Might be a nice add on.

Well I picked up the AD244 sooner than I wanted. My alternator died when I got in my truck at about 5pm on a Sunday. The only thing open here around then is Autozone so I picked up a reman AD244 and belt for it to fit my March Pulleys. 93" belt, reman'd alt all for $220, not too bad on short notice ...

Apparently my airbag light comes on after exposure to water. It has happened twice now fording deep water or torrential downpours leaving small bodies of water along the road and blasting through them. Is there any fear of airbag deployment? The light turns off after some time drying out.

Well I have found that if I rock the truck side to side I can recreate the creaking sound without the truck running. Now I still have yet to narrow it down, hard to rock the truck and tell where the creak is coming from at the same time!

Well the creaking noise has gotten louder. Now it makes almost a cracking noise at times too. I gave up and had it checked out and the shop wasn't too sure, they suggested possibly bump stops? I don't understand how those would be creaking.

You can make it pretty easy. Connect to power for the e-brake controller, then another wire run all the way to the rear to connect to your harness. Yes very good time to flush. Might not hurt at the same time to add an auxiliary tranny cooler and maybe a lower temp thermostat if you have cooling issues. I have not had a single issue even sitting in traffic while at record 100* temps. Until I turn on the a/c, but I guess thats normal.

I have never been a fan of our ABS. The ABS in the Silverados have been known to fail. Some ABS is really quality, I feel ours has some work to be desired. Sorry I know that does not help your issue.
