Thanks rlrnr53.

Thanks for the update. I wish mine would just fix itself too. I may replace the flashers before I tear into the multifunction switch.

The only suggestion was to check the rear ground connections. Which I did. That has not solved the problem. Jim quoted the original poster, I assumed the instructions to replace the multifunction switch was to correct rlrnr53's problem, and may not solve my problem.

rlrnr53's post was 3 years ago, I think he got his problem taken care of.

I revived this thread to try to figure out what is wrong with my turn signals.

Thanks.

Starting up this old thread since I searched and could not find a more specific answer to my problem. The right turn signal on my 02 CC flashes faster when the headlights are on. During the day, with the daytime running lights on, the turn signal is fine. Once I park it in the garage, or in the shad...

You know we're just a few more nickels away from syphon thieves coming out of the woodwork. I was just thinking of a way to prevent it. I think I will I'll just sell my truck and buy a crappy bicycle. No one would want to steal an old 10 speed.

I was talking about locking the fuel door, not just the gas cap. I think there are two types. I am assuming that it simply works via a release cable, the adding of the cable would be simple. My concern is with modding the catch at the fuel door.

Locking Gas Fill Door.

Has anyone modded their CC to make the fuel door lock. Where you need to push or pull some type of release from inside the cab to open the fuel door. With the rising cost of gas, and the fact that my gas cap was oddly loose on my CC, (caused a SES light) I am thinking about alternatives to just the ...

I have read some of the other posts here. That was the main reason for my concern with the ride. I got the impression that the Bilsteins were geared toward the off road enthusiast. I do plan to keep the truck long term. I was leaning toward the Bilsteins from the beginning. Cost is not a major conce...

yeah, my right rear is leaking. Would it have been so hard for GM to put a better shock on their vehicle. I know automakers are trying to keep up by cutting costs. Thanks for your help Border Man. But with all due respect, my original question was the dimensions of the stock radio, At first I was told that my truck cannot have a double din size opening because it was a 2002. After a few more posts, it was confirmed that I can, and I do, have a double din radio...

The problem I am having is that I can find double din head units that are under the 6.5" depth, but if I am going to have to cut the supports. Then It opens up other options that are deaper than 6.5"
Again, my first choice is not to cut, if I dont have to.

I did look on Crutchfield a few days ago, it lists the same Kenwood that SONOMACREW installed as compatible with the 02 CC. They also listed the depth at less than 5.5 inches. But Kenwoods web site lists the specs for head unit as being 6.5 inches. So, I dont know who to believe Crutchfield or Kenwo...

I think with a little more research I should be able to narrow down which units will fit. Stock Radio Size

Does anyone know what size the factory stereo is in the CC's. I just purchased a 2002 w/ the CD/Cassette Double Din Unit. I was thinking about swapping it out for a DVD/GPS 7" touch screen unit. When I checked Crutchfields, it shows a limited # of head units that will fit. Crutchfield also listed a ...
