Replaced my Second Pump Feb 2, 2010 , 140,000 miles . Hitting 203,000 now and that same pump is still going strong ! I think the big difference is that pump came with upgraded gauge wiring connector harness . Not a big problem to solder in and would recommend this to others.

Thanks roadrunner , I have indeed discovered loosened Battery connections . Winter seems to shrink some connections and cause leeks and loose contact. Got 'er all tightened up and working right.

Thanks, I was aware that my readings are normal . I just could not find the reason for the very slow cranking and rough start . I have since put my battery on a two day 1.5 amp Trickle charge and what ever that did , all is well .

Battery is less than a year old but, doesn't seem to be holding charge in cold weather ?
Alternator charging right at 14.78 at idle , battery at 12.8 30 minutes at rest. ?

Check Engine Light has been on for FIVE YEARS ! Got Black tape over it. Fixed ! No codes read and now that it's above 20 Degrees it fires right up with no delay. THANK YOU GOD

Have codes checked even if CEL isn't on. Could have a pending code that hasn't fully set. Then I would check fuel pressure to start. Make you're achieving pressure and holding. CEL ? Pressure Check ? :?: I'm at 198,000 on the ticker and have had no starting problems other than a dead fuel pump twice.

I've begun to experience a Stall in acceleration when leaving a stop and when starting a pass. Reminds me of a faulty accelerator pump on a carburetor . What could be the cause of this stall ?

Center Steering Wheel
After my alignment was done my steering wheel is out of center. Like I'm turning right while rolling straight down the road . The alignment is perfect but the the twisted steering wheel sucks. How can I adjust this without jacking up the alignment ?

Your probably right, I'm thinking just cold stiff lube on joints and cable. Once it engaged I just left it. Supposed to get to 45-50 degrees today , so won't need fourwheel assistance.

Tranfercase Grinding and Squealing
After replacing front CV axles and Hub bearings , I find out the Squealing and Grinding is coming from my Transfercase. Works in 2wd, 4wdHi, and 4wdLo, but man what a racket ! What could this problem be ? I have hardly ever used 4x, what can I do ?

Pinion bearing on rear axle? Mine had soft shims that squished out on the stock rear. I went to the more robust ZR2 rear soon after finding that. Strange sound
Riding on 190,000 miles now and runs great but , has been developing a sort of Growling sound at all speeds. Loader at higher speed and mellows out at slower speed but still there. No noticeable odd functions anywhere, just the sound. Any Ideas ?

I would go with a rear from ZR2. The 8.5" rear is wider to match the track of the front without spacers. Disc brakes and ABS sensor to match the braking system. Good availability of parts. Checked Gear Grease level and found below full. Took 1 1/2 quarts to fill to bottom of fill hole. still makes minor growl sound when coming to stop. Suggestions ? Can see no obvious leak locations. Been couple years since last grease replacement.

This SCREECH I'm hearing is for sure coming from the rear of my CC. I hear it at about 40mph coming from the rear of the cab. First thought I was hearing an oncoming Siren, but when I let off the throttle to pull over it stopped. Accelerate and it's back. If I stay below 30mph its quiet.

Sorry about Jacking this thread but , I could not locate the answers I'm looking for. First my main steel brake line that attaches to the feed line to the rear "T" rusted through at the flare nut right there by that breather box. What can be done besides replace the line ? If that is the only answer...

Update: Rebuilt calipers, new rotors, new brake pads. Bled the system, took it for a test drive, everything felt pretty decent. I thought bleeding the system again a second time would be good just to be safe and flush more fluid out since it was really crappy and had sentiment in it.... now the bra...
