My red top has died for the third time in 13 months. I will never buy one again, that's for sure! I am in Atlanta, about 500 miles from home, and ready to blow my, red, top! I don't have the time to take it to be charged overnight, so my friends went to get jumper cables, which didn't work last time...

As a body man, aftermarket parts suck, at least most of the time. They don't fit 90% of the time. They won't come with the hinges either. Finding an aftermarket whole door assembly is next to impossible anyway. Used (LKQ) parts are fine, they will most likely come with the other half of the hinge to...

be careful with a rear end swap. I blew mine out and looked into it and found out if it's not the right match it will destroy your transfer case. You can tell if it's wrong by putting it in 4wd and driving on wet pavement, slowly. If you can feel the wheels jerking that is bad and the rear end is wr...

ball joints first, no question. An easy way to check to see if they're shot is tire wear. That is a VERY short version of this topic but you can read more here: ball joints Other common issues also touched on by this site include the shocks and feul filter. Mostly mods are the biggest topic so have ...

My optima just died for the second time in ONE year. I was listening to my radio both times and after about thirty minutes, dead. No amps running just my sirius receiver and deck. The abilty to move at high speeds
I am just polling on what CC drivers think about how their trucks handle at high speeds (75mph+). Other than the, "you shouldn't go that fast", "you may hurt someone" speech. Any of you that have driven on any major beltway know what I mean! (This is based on a basicly stock suspension.)

Be careful with your belt moulding (the black strip outside at the base of your glass) it's fragile and the clips will break (learned the hard way) Also, watch your mounting depth. If you mount them, with a mounting bracket, the cone may hit the door panel and shorten the life of the speakers. (agai...

If it's worse in the turns it's your CV boot and hopefully just the boot. Over time the boot will dry rot and fall apart causing the grease to leak out. Once that grease leaks out, the joint will be metal on metal and eventually wear out. :alert: FIX SOON and maybe you will get away with only replac...
