Re: front bed rail
Same here. No rust anywhere on my 2003. Except for the front bed rail is about gone. I thought it was from my light bar I had bolted through it. Or maybe from running my quad in too tight. I pulled the bedliner out. Other than a little paint rub-off, there isn't any rust anywhere else. Need to weld ...

I have one just like it. I don't know why I never threw it out. I even have to put the wheels back on it before attempting to use it before I pitch it in the corner. Perhaps if I took the time to tighten the nuts, I wouldn't need to do it. Just can't bring myself to pitch it. I have a large floor ja...

I have been really diggin on the new radio. But the speakers didn't do it justice. So today I installed 6 new tri-ax speakers. They are not the top-notch expensive brand. But they do sound a lot better than the stockers. The 880 watt amp didn't hurt the set-up either!. I took the glovebox out and mo...

I have been wanting to add the roof rack. But wasn't sure about the mounting. Are the fastners/nuts in place? Or is there enough material to bolt/screw into? I don't have a problem boring holes in the roof if there is enough stock to support them. Do you have to pull the headliner down to see where ...

I got 80,000 out of the stock bearings. Replaced both within 3 months of each other. 6 months later I had to replace them again. I bought the middle of the road ones at $130 each. Lucky for me they had a 1 year warrnty. Auto Zone replaced them for free. I paid the difference to get the best ones I c...

My stock tires ran about 3MPH off at 70. I had a GPS (Tom Tom), GPS (FourTrax) and a GPS (Megelen) in the truck at the same time. None of them were always the same at one time. After I got the Scan Gauge installed and chalked the actual tires for size, my MPG went down. I have a note book in the glo...

I forget what the weight of our stock tire on stock rim was. But I did weight them and posted on here somewhere. The Long Trail 31s I had were 4 pounds per tire on stock rims heavier the the stock 235x75Rx15s. But I think the MPG loss is more do to footprint size and tread design along with the weig...

I have the 31" Coopers on my CC. The ride is good, the price is good and the noise is low. But the size is BS! The actual height is about the same as 30s. I didn't know it until after I had them mounted and installed. Spending coin on a lift, shackles, frontend alignment and tires to gain 3" to 5" o...
