Chris no longer has the prints for the crew cab sliders, but said he'd be more than happy to make a set to your specifications. You'd have to come up with a print for what you want for him to make them from though.
A good start for you would be to use the frame blueprints:

You'll never bend them. You can (and people have) rest the entire weight of your truck on them without them breaking a sweat.
I'm not sure if Chris still has the crewcab template... i'll shoot him an email and see for ya.

But I don't see any huge gains in doing that. Eliminating the accordion section is what gains the most when installing an intake on our trucks. I'm sure it could be done without replacing the intake hat, but the K&N and AEM intakes merge the intake hat and accordian section into one piece... so in ...

Having done it before, it takes me about 1/2 hour per side. I'd figure like an hour if you've never done it. A ratcheting 18mm (i think, might be 17mm) wrench helps a LOT for getting the bearing unbolted. Also, you'll need a deep 36mm socket to take off the axle nut.

Symptoms of Bad Shocks
So recently, my truck's been riding a bit harsher than normal. I figured at first it was because of too much air in the tires, so i went from 35psi to 31psi. Didn't help. I have the stock Bilsteins with 136k on them in the front, and air shocks in the rear. The rear was always somewhat stiff, as i u...

Don't even think the stock will be capable of supporting the use of a winch. I only have one 10" efan for my transmission cooler, i'm running the clu...

Mine are tinted at 35% in the front (which comes out to 28% after the factory tint). I had 15% before, which is very close to stock, but I got pulled over and had to remove it. The 35% is noticably lighter, but it's WAAAAAAY better than having them stock, no comparison. Stock: http://img.photobucket...

Brule was not being rude. He was simply suggesting that there are many in depth discussions on the topic, some that even go into the material properties of the alloys used. It's a pretty commonly discussed topic, and a lot of us feel very comfortable using wheel adapters. I, for one, have a set of 1...

Any thoughts on a pulley like this?
My pulley is a 1.875"... this one's a 1.650"... I'd think it'd bring the alternator speed up just enough to produce adequate power again at idle.
