You don't need to take the nut off to remove the rotor... you probably have the small clips still on the studs, you'll have to pull them off with needlenose pliers or something.

I bought: 31x10.50 Polaris AT's with 70% tread on N90's for $150 + shipping 31x10.50 BFG AT's 2 with 90% tread, 2 unevenly worn with 90% on one half and 50% on the other, all on PA3's and including a spare steel wheel with spare 235...

The GM skirts are very brittle, since they're basically fiberglass impregnated tar paper. The ones i sell are made of a rubber/plastic composite and are much more flexible (aka don't tear when you're changing plugs).

For the body lift, most guys run the Performance Accessories body lift. As far as i remember, there isn't any drilling or cutting, if there is, it's minimal. What year/make/model is your truck?

For the spacers, look for seller "completevalue" on ebay, he seems to have the best deals.

IMO, don't bother with the t-bar keys. Use the stock adjusters.

A lot of the stock ZR2 pickups rub the sway bar at full lock.

I still don't understand what makes one truck rub like that when another of similar setup doesn't. I had a 97 Non-Zr2 blazer with no body lift or t-bar crank, and 31's didn't rub unless i was wheeling it hard (i tried a couple different sets too). My brother's 97 4dr fit 31's with no lift as well.

cknaffle's reply on USA: Wow Jigg. Close calls like that are scary. Same thing happened to me after I body-lifted my 1989 S10. Came flying up to the stopsign and the pedal went right to the floor. That hose fell off after I started the motor apparently. e-brake saved my ass! It's not the brake boost...

This is how the big lifts work. The brackets drop the mounting points, the diff, sway bar, etc. Then there's a spring over axle kit for the rear with AAL's or shackles to make up the difference.

Yeah, i've seen those, but they won't really work for what i'm tryign to do, as i need to move the entire assembly, not just the filter itself. (unless i'm not understanding how they work)

I need to move my oil filter and need to extend the lines a bit. I was figuring i could find some sort of coupling, cut the lines, add the coupling, more hose, then another coupling to finish it off. Short of flushing my system, i decided to try siphoning some out and replacing it. The fluid i took out was very dark in color, while the fluid that came out of the bottle was almost clear. Is that normal for it to be two completely different colors?

yeah, it's not a quick surging/bucking like a tranny problem. It surges about 200 rpm, probably takes like a second or so for it to surge up, and then a second to surge down.

Sorry, i was saying that the surging was related to the loss of backpressure (due to the pipe falling off)

I'm going to check out the cap and rotor, that's one thing i've been meaning to do and it's definitely ignition related.

Surging between 42-48 mph

My truck has started surging between 42-48 mph if i only give it partial throttle. I can power through it no problem, but if i'm trying to maintain that speed, it surges (RPMs, not tranny). Recently, my brakes have been kind of f-d up. One of the pads in the rear somehow dislodged itself and completely ground down the rotor on that side. I replaced pads and rotors in the rear.
