Cool....Thanks again.

I'll get some pics of it sitting in the driveway on 4 stands. Should make a nice "redneck driveway" type picture :D

Thats all I need to know. Didn't want to make a "puller" for them if they were threaded in there. I noticed one side pulled out just fine, but the boot stopped it. I'll probably pull the assembly off, and bring it into the machine shop to work on it. I hate trying to fashion tools with it attached t...

About these Caliper Pins.....

SO I tore into the back of the ZR5 this weekend to inspect the parking brake. I DID NOT like having the boat drag my truck backwards down the ramp with the pedal fully depressed. I adjusted both parking drums out a bit and it worked better, but I need more. Guess I'll start looking at the cables.......

I'll second the pullies as well. I've got them on the Xtreme (ASP, not March). They were the best bang for the buck mod to date. I'd STRONGLY suggest you get aluminum pullies, and not steel. Underdriving is only about 25% of the gains from what I've read. The other 75% of the gains come from reducin...

GT35R with Sy/Ty manifolds will get you full boost (~15lbs) and about 400ft-lbs as early as 2500rpm. That enough torque?

Yea, I DESPISE that huge "clunk" that you get when you park an auto on a hill and don't use the parking break. I typically put the truck in neutral, set the brake, release the normal brakes to check for roll (how I found it wasn't holding), then put in park and shut off engine. She thinks I'm parano...

Thanks for the tip.

The GF seems to think I overuse the parking brake (Is everytime the trucks in park too much?) Any idea if I'm actually using it too much?

I'll tear into it tonight. I don't have much else going on anyway :D

Well, It was much to to-do about nothing. Went down there yesterday afternoon to pickup the boat. Aside from having to use 4wd to get out of the guys gravel covered road subdivision (Super steep drive in gravel), everything went well. I found on the ramp that my emergency brake isn't nearly as stron...

They should be a pretty easy replacement. Remove the two bolts holding the control arm to the frame. Remove the upper balljoint. Then you can pull out the arm (might have to remove clips holding ABS sensor, and brake line from the arm as well. I've found when doing coilover conversions, the best way...

UM....D=4th 3=3rd.

I think you mean all towing should be done in "3".....As most cars come with OD, D, 2, 1.....ours has D, 3, 2, 1.....I've made the same mistake in the past when asking similar questions. :D

A WDH does not change the tongue weight. It redistributes it through the vehicle, however that same amount is still focused through the hitch mount points. The hitch was on the truck when I bought it, and the previous owner said it came from the dealership he purchased it at that way. i can crawl un...

I've had ~5,200lbs on the back of mine, and it did just fine. I certainly don't think GM would put one back there that wasn't intended to be used for the entire capacity of the truck. BTW, I don't think I'll ever tow that much again with this truck without a weight distributing hitch. It did OK, but...

Looks like Checkmate is the only one left :(.....Either that or I need to find an upholstery shop to repair the access cover I have that I was supposed to ship to HJ about 4 months ago. The stylin concept product is no longer available per a note on that link :( Buying the boat has made me put a new...
