I just need to get the correct switch now lol I need to get the switch cover for the heated mirrors, right now i have the one for the rear defroster, left is the one i have, right is the one i need, but it should be easy all I have to do is change the button covers, looks like im off to the Pick-a-p...

Ok, they do go off after 10mins lol, So i guess the timer is built into the Defroster button. Im happy now have heated mirrors in California hehe

Ok, i got it wired to to a relay and works so when i press the button the mirrors heat up, but right now i checking to see if they go off after 10mins so, but thanks for your help Henryj

I do want the timed delay too, so i guess wireing to the underhood relay would be best, I just need to wire diagram to know where the wires hook up too

Ok, so basicly I have to run the white wire and the orange wire to the unhood relay, Ive tried looking for Wire diagrams but i cant seem to find any for the heated mirrors and rear defrsoter

Ok I checked the relay is there but the ornage wire is not, i guess it would be easier to just add the relay down my the heater/ac controls since i already have all the wires there, now the thing is how am i wireing th relay?

I looked under the relay and checked the pins and there are no wires going to the relay figures lol, so any suggestions on how I could wire it up?

ok, do you know where the wire is located? or could I jsut tap into it under the relay?

I was wondering if you hooked up the up 3 - LT GRN - Fuse Output - Backup Lamps - Type III Fuse , so when your backing up the auto dim mirror turns off. I wanna hook that wire up but im not sure where I should tap into the reverse lights at?

Yea i ran my own, only thing is i dont have a CC i havea 2002 reg cab , but i think the wireing is the same i checked it out, the wires were not there so i just ran my own. its really easy.
