New Shocks

OK, new product question time. Has anyone heard, seen or otherwise gained any information on the new odd road shocks from Gabriel? :?: They're called Max Control and they are a Gas/Hydraulic hybrid for maximum comfort on road and extra control off road. My truck just turned a year old so I thought I...

Overheating

Does anyone make a decent electric fan set-up for our trucks? Seems like that would work better at slower speeds. (like the southbound 101 on any work day) :!:

Scheduled Maintenance

My 02 just turned 12,000 trouble free miles and I took it in for scheduled maint last week (I do every other oil change myself at home). 8) The service manager said they are now recommending a crank case flush every 12,000 miles due to the higher operating temps and aluminum parts in the Vortec engi...

Warranty Repairs?

My truck turned over 10K miles today and I haven't had it in for warranty work yet. I noticed the gas gauge thing, but my 96 Silverado did the same thing so I figured I would just live with it. I know when the trip odometer hits 270 miles, I better be finding a gas station. I have had 2 full size GM...

Dex Cool?

If you leave the pink stuff in too long, it will eat the gaskets. Had to replace every single coolant gasket in my 96 Silverado($1500)

I will probably change mine after it's second Arizona Summer this year.

Just reached 9000 trouble free miles and absolutely love my Sonoma Crew

When I went to tech school, we were told OEM shocks cost about .99 to make. Almost all vehicles come home from the dealer needing new shocks!

Rear Molded Mud Guards?

Has anybody found out where you can get decent looking rear flaps for the Crews? I got fronts from GM, but they don't carry rears for trucks with flairs. I checked Husky and they don't have em either! :?:
