This is the only other picture I could scrounge of the rack. The Hi-Lift fits pretty good on it.

The Blazer has a 3"BL ,Add-a-Leafs,T-Bar Crank, 31" MTR's, 16" Cragar Soft 8's. The roof rack is home made out of 1 1/4" sq. tubing and expanded metal for the floor. The rear bumper is also home made but I wouldn't recommend the set up for wheeling. It sticks out too far and hangs too low. I was at ...

Sounds like you have a good start on your Blazer....I was in the same situation a year ago, I came across a "free" Blazer that needed a new engine. This is it $2500 later.... http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f354/gen1crewcab/dc2ac3d0.jpg I would highly recommend a posi-lok cable system for engaging...

It is my understanding that the South American 1st gen crew cabs were converted from 4dr Blazers. These were converted after the release of the 4dr Blazer in 1991. The dead give away is the shape of the rear doors.

Well here goes, I was looking online to buy a Baja (1st gen) and I stumbled across an ad for this truck. I called the guy up and he explained to me that he was getting divorced so the truck had to go. He said that the truck was built for GM by a company in WI for the Autoshow circuit. The truck was ...

I like those rims on that 1st Gen crewcab, to bad GM didn't make a s-10 crewcab with a long bed. That's not entirely true. After 5 years of research and an extensive restoration I cannot find any evidence to discount the notion that this truck was built for GM as a design prototype. For thos...
