Transfer case in continuously engaged.
I believe my transfer case is continuously engaged, 2003 CC. It shifts in and out of 4 wheel drive ok and the axles engage. Is there something I can disconnect to troubleshoot the problem? Don't want to drive it around like that till I can get the right part.

Brake booster
When I step on the brakes I hear a loud rush of air and the first couple of time I hit the brakes the pedal is very hard. I assuming the booster is bad. Has anyone changed one of these and how hard is it.

You can paint over the chrome, it's like painting over any other surface its all it the prep. Wash if first with wax and grease remover or if you don't have that use powdered Tide.
