The tires measure 31.6" x 10.8" (on 8" rim) per manufacturer's specs. The rims are 17" x 8" with 4.5" back spacing. Finally got under the hood over the weekend and took out the blower motor... sure enough it was stuck. I pulled out the resistor and it didn't have any visible signs of going bad. The S-10 is perfect for my needs... Agile and manuverable off road. Better fule mileage on average. A backseat that is just as big if not bigger than a fullsize truck. I lost over a second with my truck on the quarter mile after i installed 30s. I have the 3.42 gears. It really doesn't feel like I have lost too much power or acceleration tho in the first two gears. 3.73's are "adequate" for me... I use that word liberally. I'd love to go with 4.10's if $$ allowed. It probably has something to do with the sweltering climate down here.
