well on my 2004 I just installed the HPPIII and it recommends the stock stat. It could be that the ECM is looking for a certain temp for the coolant in a certain amount of time, and the 180 stat is causing the temp it is looking for to be too low. Looking to see at what milage people changed their fuel filters. I am approaching 15k and figured this would be a good time to replace the factory filter. Growing up in central NY, Lake effect snow is what I learned to drive in. 79 Chevy Nova 4 dr sedan. You know the snow is heavy when you have to have the neighbors catapillar over to plow the driveway enough so that you can get the plow out of the barn.

yup that's what those clips are. when the pads wear down far enough so they contact the rotor they start to chirp. If you ignore the chip it becomes a heavy metallic squeal and normally means that now not only do you need pads but also rotor turning/replacement.

eeewww! that sounds like a negatory on the transfer case swap Bandit. Just thought it might be ideal combination of auto and manual 4 wheel drive systems. Might still be worth more investigation if a wrecked Bravada came up for sale cheap.

Should you reset anytime you go in or just when they might have to work on the electronics. Say if they had to disconnect the battery to find a short vs. diagnosing a problem, not that that will happen I have an auto x-ray scan tool so I will know if something is wrong and can reflash before brining...

Hey ,How bout some answers that I was looking for in the heading. The skid plate stuff is needed but I really would like some opinions on what posi/locker people use and or recommend.
