well on my 2004 I just installed the HPPIII and it recommends the stock stat. It could be that the ECM is looking for a certain temp for the coolant in a certain amount of time, and the 180 stat is causing the temp it is looking for to be too low. Just FYI just installed my PPIII the other day and the instructions state that for the 4.3l they recommend the factory 190 thermostat. Fuel Filter
Looking to see at what milage people changed their fuel filters. I am approaching 15k and figured this would be a good time to replace the factory filter. Have seen that some people seem to gain a bit more mpg after change and would like to hope that would happen for me but not really expecting much.

Has anyone found a gauge pod for 2 gauges that will fit the 2004. The A pillar is different than the 95-2002 apparently since the pod I was going to install in my 95 blazer doesn't fit the 2004. I have an oil temp and trans temp gauge I would like to mount and need some options (2 1/16 gauges)

Should you reset anytime you go in or just when they might have to work on the electronics.
