Never had any luck getting the mirror off the right way I just wrapped a hammer in a towel and slid it up the windshield and hit the bottom of the mirror mount. mirror pops right off.

I did break two studs when I put the spacers on but that was because I was using a 1/2 socket wrench instead of a torque wrench. Once they were replaced and torqued correctly(not by gorilla method) they have been fine.

2003 zr-5 is a double DIN opening 4 inches. Reeds 2002 could be either 1.5 or 2 the change occured mid-year if the dash opening is 4 inches it's double DIN if it's less than that it's the 1.5 Din. I think I found it. I just filled with waterproof seam sealant and will let it dry before putting carpet back down. Wet Carpet

I just noticed that my carpet on the drivers side is soaking wet! I had to refasten my floor mat and found the whole carpet soggy. I have been using the a/c a lot this summer but am not sure if this is causing the problem. Any ideas befroe I just tear into it or am forced to take it to the dealer?

Sort of like filling a sheet of sandpaper up with material and getting an area that has a shiny spot on it. Glazing can occur on belts causing squealing as well.

There should be one more in your toolbox that looks like a bent prybar for turning the star adjuster.
