HenryJ, This may surprise you but my S10 Crew Cab has the AC hissing issue AND the 4WD engaging problem. And according to GM, they are related. I have had this piece of s**t in 4 times in the past 6 weeks for this problem. I know as soon as the AC hissing starts, that if I am on the highway, the 4WD...
