UPDATE***** So, they put in the 44044's and welded in a 1" spacer onto the hy-steer arm so the tie rod will clear the springs. Hate to dig up an old thread but.......

Yeah, so driving to work today I (early morning - still dark) flicked on my hi-beams and *poof* - pitch dark. Now, DRL's run fine but the "hi-beam" marker in the cab is lit. Im guessing that the double burnt bulbs in the culprit.

Anyone else have this problem?

hey, i just asked the same question over on the extemist site. i read that someone had used range rover air springs. im doing a SFA w/ very low rate springs and could use the info too.

Probably not the best way to do it but.... i used my dremel with the sandpaper barrel on my crotchrockets side fairings. it melted the plastic rather than cut but it went perfectly. looks/feels smooth and stock and i could form it exactly the way i needed to. again, probably not the best method but ...

yeah, you see a lot of toy and nissan crew cabs out here. occasionally you get some full size chevys. Ive never seen a sandstorm come up like that. usually it starts off with some sand, then worse and worse until it ends up with a dark red color (during the day).

Oh, it makes sense alright. I was just reading on another site that someone had problems with their oilpan and thought I would ask some questions before I did everything. I got some used 32's (305 or 285/75 or something) to try out and decide what I want when all is said and done. I'm planning on 33...

Ok, 2003 CC w/ Waggy D44's. Front spring mount is about an 8" drop from the bottom of the frame. 2" lift shackles mounted under the frame. 5" lift toyota springs. Spring under axle with the axle moved forward about 3 inches. I really don't want to go spring over because I want a lower center of grav...
