I ordered the Dyna Beads. The tires are 305/70R17 Wrangler MT/R's (basically a 34x12.5R17), and I ordered 8oz of beads for each tire, which was the recommendation on www.innovativebalancing.com for my tire size. They're scheduled to arrive tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get them in next weekend and let...

Poor quality pads, "lot rot" (rusted rotors and pads from sitting on a dealership lot), etc. I'd take the wheels off and look at things myself just to be sure they're not trying to pull one over on you.

I haven't heard anything specific, but those off-road company type tires (Mickey Thompson, etc.) are more for purpose built trail rigs, so long-term durability and tread-wear is often poor. IMHO.

Can you use stock ZR-5 rims to fit the 30x9.5s? And do you need 3in wheel spacers in the rear to fit them as well? The setup pictured is with 15x7 USWheel Daytonas (some places call the RockCrawlers) with 5" of backspacing and 30x9.5/15 Dunlop Mud Terrains (crappy tire in my opinion...but the did they job at the time), 2" PA body lift, front t-bar crank (added about 1"), and 1.5" lift Daystar non-greasable shack...

I know the stupid bracket on the passenger side of the tranny that holds what I think was the brake lines (maybe cooler lines)has a metric nut and standard bolt (or vice-versa) on the same bracket. They're small and hard to get at too...had to use small ignition wrenches. That bracket was the source...

Also consider the weight difference between the stock wheel and tire setup and 31" mud terrain tires on aftermarket rims. On just the tires alone there's a 13lb difference between stock and your current tires...52lbs extra all around can make a difference too.

Most windshields are usually in the $200-$300 range. You might check with your insurance to see if they offer $0 deductible glass coverage. When I lived in Phoenix, that was standard coverage because of all the gravel medians around the city.

It may be close...if anything smaller behind the crew cab seat. Biggest thing is that the seat in the back of the crew cab cannot be slid forward at all to allow installation. I do know that 6.5" Bazooka tube I had in there barely fit, so compare that to the box for your 15.

I would do a BL with that setup and you should be OK...maybe some minor rubbing, nothing a BFH wouldn't help out though. :D

You might consider Wrangler MTR's also...I had them on my S-10 and loved them.

Stock rims and no BL = 30x9.5's Depending on the tire they may rub slightly, but nothing cranking the torsion bars a little won't cure.

Anything bigger (or aftermarket rims with less backspacing) would require a body lift.

Good point...I'd imagine that box has a relay or two in it that's acting up. See if there's a part number stamped on the outside and search for it to see what it is.

Just measure the tread depth. If you're within a 2 or 3/32nds of a new tire all around, you should be fine.

Maybe a relay of some sort related to the heated seats. Do they work again after wiggling the harness? Maybe just a bad harness connection too.

Maybe an intermittent problem with a wheel speed sensor, maybe check the fluid level in the master cylinder also. Do they come on when braking or just stay on after startup? Do you have any false activation of the ABS system also (ABS engaging on dry pavement when braking normally)? Only other thing...
