I've got a screw in the front right tire....should I go plub or inside patch....I do a little light offroading...which is stronger and will hold up the longest... :?

I'm sorry to hear you have goodyear's I had nothing but bad experiences with those tires...BFG's are the way to go IMO

stock tire size

Just wondering what the stock tire size is In INCHES....if anyone with stock tires is willing to measure for me......trying to figure out approx how much bigger than stock my 30"'s really are...for MPH and mileage reasons.

yeah the BL is the cheapest way to get bigger tires and therefor more clearance. Oh and about the tire width...the higher you go the wider you should be...So if your not planning on going too high your tire wishes should be doable.

I don't have a doubt that the Fiberglass version would support the tire....I have one and the wife and kids and I sit and jump on it often...LOL. But the only concern I would have would be the lift arms...I think you'd have to get some much larger/beefier arms on there

and maybe some flares to help with the rubbing..
or you could just hack off you fender where it rubbs and just paint it like I did....(flares can be expensive)

OK...so the SL is gonna run about $1700...Plus install.$$$$.plus ball joints and steering joints $$$$$ So...I'm guessing a little under $3K total,,,ish what's a SAS gonna run me....all said and done,,with someone else doing it...(I just don't have the know-how or the equipment) what are we talkin' h...

OK...after I drive a bit...when I park...my truck stinks...smells like burnt rubber. I can't, for the life of me, figure out what it is. Any input would help alot.

well right now just a bit of mud...But that's because of lack of lift and lack of places to go///I'm going to be moving back home to TX soon where there are quite a bit more places to go....I'd like to be able to get through that rougher terrain...though..honestly..I don't know for sure how rough it...

I'm thinking of getting lifted....I have a 2" bl....and I'm running 31x10.5's right now...if I get the SL 6" will I be able to run33x12.5's...on rims with...uh...I'm not sure how much backspacing....and my fenders are already "modified" a bit...and I'm not against cutting more off. If Anybody knows ...
