Increase was 1" to 1.250".

Not worried about the tires I was going to replace them soon.

Also

f9k9 ~ I did get a good look at my adjuster TB key today its not bottomed out Its darn close ... I can put a plastic shim between the key and the crossmember.

One more stupid question ...After the TB crank I drove a week to work (2.5 miles) to make sure I was happy with the adjustment.
I didnt get an alignment yet but I will this week I need to travel 50miles this weekend ..Is it ok to do this ??

Fresh off a Boise SW Kit and TB crank ~~~Should I go with 30 x 9.5 soon or wait till after my BL ( winter of '05 )and go with 31 x10.5 ???

I did a TB Crank of 5 complete turns and my passenger side adj bolt is close to bottoming can I bottom out then back off a quarter of a turn?

My front is 1"- 1.25" lower then the back.

I would like it even.

How far can i go?

My only problem was the the u-bolt cutting.

The Boise SW Installation was good i had to run out and buy a grinder to take down the excessive exposed threads on the u bolts. I also did a t bar crank 4 full turns. Last weekend I installed 1.5" spacers on the back. I like the results. Now I have to save for a BL and 31" tires. Thanks to HJ and e...

I did read the thread about the holes that are covered on each side of the housing face by the stock gasket.This site also have the slotted out gaskets.

I found this really cool place that can apply a colored hammer finish to the cover but the sales man told me that year 2001 had two different rears i was thinking a zr2 is different then mine but they didnt make a zr2 in 2001.

Brittle 3rd Brake Light

I just had my 3rd brake bulb replaced for state inspection.. What a nightmare the lens mounting countersunk hole lip broke on both sides not to mention the gaskets fell apart as well. Has anyone else had this problem??

I was going to get a 05 Silverado crew with all rebates 26,500. not too bad , but they would only give me 12,000 for my 2001 CCc with 39k miles.The Silverado felt cheap - not as solid as my CC if that make sense.

Stock Rim tire height

I was planning on 30 x9.5 x15 on my stock rims .total diameter of 29.4 can i get to 30.5 total dia??? some tires are slightly larder...My mod will be boise springs with a tb crank..

I found the stock tire dia to be 28.7

Well i just tried naval jelly sprayed onto a rag then polished up those rims real nice it worked the stock rims are painted steel with a clear coat ??

How to is easy....When you remove the bolts the oil drains out in to pan ..clean it up.. apply gasket... install new cover...tighten bolts and fill it up.

Thanks guys i believe i have the tools and assembly abilty for the 2" BL.

Heres my plan

A: In a matter of minutes i will order the Boise AAL.When I recieve that I will also do the tb crank.

B: 30-9.5-15 tires on my stock rims. In a month

C: 2" BL .....fall of '05

Well the keys sound like bad news so I think I will go with the tb crank and the biose AAL.

The factory (non-zr2) S-10 rims are aluminum? or painted with a clear coat? I did try using a 3M Finesse-it finishing material by hand, didnt do it.
