Lestoil just mix some and put it in a spray bottle. I use a paint brush to knock off the heavy areas. It doesn't stink like engine cleaners and it will knock the road film and oil rite off. Its cheap and has many uses. Try it you'll like it.

Just this week I noticed that the two AC vents on the passenger side of my dash are blowing very little air. The two on the drivers side will blow your hair back. Do you think this could be the problem?

I love the stuff. I used it on the mirrors and trim on the 95 Blazer and it made all of it look like new. It did pick up dust for a few days but that problem solved itself.

Problem Solved :nana: After closer inspection I found a few powdery white marks on the plug wires. I put on a set of Bosch wires, replaced the cap for the second time because I found that the dealer had swaped my brass tipped cap with their POS stock cap and now the Blazer purrs like a kitten.

I did check the cap for condensation and have went over it well for vacuum leaks. I thought anything else would throw a code. my driver side rear door has a frozen cam follower wheel that slides, rather than rolls across the cam lever,and no ammount of penetrating oil, and rotating it with pliers to free it up has helped much, but at least the chain wax helps it slide without making poping and grinding noises.... Check the high voltage contact relay inside the unit. it may be dirty and you might not be getting 240 volts to the unit. Make sure that the wire harness with the silver heat tape doesn't get pushed into the manifold. It will put your crew on a tow truck. It happen to me. :x

Do you have a photo of where its located? I remember in my first generation S there was a filter in the bottom of a canister that was mounted to the wheel well. I had to pull the canister to change it.

Sorry, I'm going to answer my own question. CPI This is what I told the dealer to check when I dropped the Blazer off yesterday. It took them 2 days to say it was the regulator. They couldn't just say I was rite. :lol: . A good mechanic is hard to find.

CPI Fuel Pressure Regulator

Has anyone had problems with the fuel pressure regulator. Where is it in the S-10? How much should it cost to replace? The one in my 95 Blazer went up and its around $800.00 to have it replaced at the dealer.

The State Police said they can't do anything so I filed a complaint with the BBB today. I also sent a copy of the complaint to the oil company that flys there flag over this great station. Lets see how this goes from here.
