Thanks for the replies everybody. I am running the stock tires and shocks with I think 35 psi front and rear. I picked the truck up late so there were no techs at the dealer, the cashier had a puzzled look when I asked her about cupping .... (kidding) Anyhow the problem is gone, so I guess I'll have...

The Dealer says tire cupping wear is normaL .....

Hello All, I was getting a slight thump - thump - thump sound and vibration anytime I turned my steering wheel to turn, change lanes etc. Was getting worse so I brought it in and they said my tires were cupped, nothing mechanical was wrong and that to solve the problem I should rotate the tires ever...

Thanks for the reply, no way to take photos at the moment as everything is put back together and the Pioneer is getting ready to be returned. I'll try and explain further. After removing the dash trim and the stock radio, the Pioneer will not fit into the spot the stock radio was in because the dash...

Dash radio opening size problems .... Any ideas?

Well disaster has struck, after spending 2 hours installing the Kenwood sub, the head unit won't fit. Short story, the Pioneer radio is 7 3/4" wide, the dash opening (not the trim) is 7 3/8 wide. Trimming the dash itself won't work because the speed nuts would be barely be held in, plus the trim wou...

Hello, I wasn't going to install an amp, the sub is powered and the Pioneer head unit had a little kick to it. I'm in the middle of the install so I guess I'll get it in and see how it sounds. I am going to take part of your suggestion and run an extra set of wires in case I need the amp. Thanks, Fr...

I replaced the dash tweeters with a regular 4x6 speaker. I then mounted a small tweeter in the upper corner of the windshield. The sound difference was awesome.
I'm expecting a Pioneer head unit for Christmas, I already have the Kenwood sub waiting to be installed.

RDS radio theft lock question

Hello all, I'm still trying to hook up my ipod and the latest solution is to replace my 6CD radio with a single CD because they have the aux CD changer control buttons. Anybody seen the pimpy (tiny) dash speakers ???

I wanted to add some top of windshield tweeters and took the dash speaker grille out and to my surprize the former 4x6 speaker has been replaced with a tiny tweeter type speaker, about an inch and a half across. I know there has been an issue with the depth for a replacement speaker but I was really...

12 Volt Aux outlet

Hello out there, anyone out there know of a part number for a 12 volt aux outlet to put under the dash. My 2000 S10 had a 2 holer from the factory but the '04 did not come with one. I'm hoping for a plug and play as I've heard the plug is hidden under the dash in the harness.

Thanks,
Frank

Hello - Hello, thanks for the welcome, long time S10 pilot short time crew cab driver.
Also, thanks for the heater control link, I think that's what I will do.

One of my friends found the Walgreens sign so it's an actual photo.

Take care,
Frank

I also read somewhere that you can put a shut off valve in one of the heater hoses.

Any Ipod solution for 6 cd radio ?

Hello all, I did a search with no luck. I have the 6 CD changer radio ( '04 ) and want to hook up my Ipod. But as i understand with the 6 CD you can't. Any help would be appreciated. I'd prefer a direct hook up as I havn't had much luck with the Itrip etc.
