My trip to Moab, Utah for some serious Off-roading!

Hey guys, I just got back a few days ago from Moab, Utah where my uncle and I went off roading in his 2006 Jeep Rubicon. It has an 6 inch "Nth Degree" lift, 35" tires, front and rear lockers, bumpers, sliders, full undercarriage armor, winch, roll bar, and even satelite radio :) It's loaded! He had ...

The 235/75R15 is 28.8" and a 30 can range anywhere from 29.5 to above 30" depending on which brand you choose. Just check the actual diameter measurement that the company lists. The only thing you're going to be able to do there would be the 2 inch body lift and 2 inch shackles on the rear. On the front, you can turn the torsion bars to get it to raise up, but when you do that you run the risk of wearing out the front end components pretty quickly if you turn it too much. H...

I was thinking about this for a while yesterday. The only logical reasoning I could come up with was that the tow hooks are on the front. So when you would use them to pull something, you would have to be in reverse, therefore it would maximize your traction with both of the tires spinning.

To be honest, I dont really know. Never really looked into it. I dont even think I've seen one... How big is it? From what I remember with the mounting kit, it's all one big peice. The bottom part is a small storage place, but I've never used it. It's gotta be maybe 1 inch to 1.5 inches wide?

Doesn't stick out at all. Looks like it belongs there :) http://www.s-10crewcab.com/coppermine/albums/userpics/1...

Building your own box aint that hard really. Takes a few hours to complete it. Just find a sub with a small mounting depth and you can easily fit a 10" sub. I got my JL 10" sub to fit very easily in my custom box. The Infinity 10" sub that I had before had a deeper mounting depth and it made it hard...
