I had 3.42's with 33X12.50 mud terrains. I did a lot to enhance power, and I never felt underpowered when accellerating. the truck always pulled hard. millage was respectable for a lifted truck with 33's. as low as 12/13 MPG in the winter city driving, and as high as 19 MPG.....once, lol! LTFTs are a way to view how rich or lean your engine is running. Just being able to read them or view them won't do you any good without a way to tune them. ok i got straight pipes today :evil: i had a flowmaster and its actually a deeper tone with the straight pipes but once u get over 3000rpm it starts to souund like a v6......but i actualy gained power.... my 0 to 60 time was faster that it was with the flowmaster.... but it isnt as loud as i though...

my dream truck will be coming out hopefully in the next couple years. the big 3 plan to debut smaller turbo diesel engines in their half-ton line up. I believe the Silverado will be getting a 4.5L Duramax that should have the same power output as the gas 5.3 but get into the low to mid 20 MPGs ........

I never could understand why the 4.3 gets such bad mileage. A v6 should always get better MPG than a v8 under normal conditions. I'll say go for Magnaflow, get a 5"X11"X22" oval case muffler, if there's that much room. That's plenty of sound suppression and as free flowing as you can get. There is a fairly built up SFAed ZR2 in my club and he complains of body damage, We share the same wheel base as an extended cab. I loved my BDS lift. the ride quality was similar, if not better, then the stock setup. i think this was because of the large side wall of my tires and the increased suspension travel.
