I'm not sure what the question is? But the S10s received double din headunits in 2002.5 so if yours is a 2003, it has a double din. Any radio will fit it.

Just find a std cab truck and measure it. It might be too long as well, and if it is, simply cut and weld right at the outside edge instead inside. It will be just as easy to do. In my experience tho, if the cab corners are gone then the rest of the truck wont be too far behind so it may not be wort...

32psi is too low, that is for a standard tire rated at 35psi max. Its up to you what you want to set them at, usually I put them 40-44psi when theyre rated for 50, but mostly for comfort. My 31s are D or E rated and i have to run them around 20spi or the truck rides like a brick.

Any way to check timing under load? Perhaps the ecm is pulling a lot of timing out for some reason. But 175k on the chain is a lot of miles, theyre pretty stretched after 100k.

Yep check the pressure sensor first, but honestly it all goes bad and you can do the oilpan with the motor in but youll need to pull the front differential. Youre right, the reservoir is tucked up into the fender, if you get a small mirror you can see the nipple that the vacuum line goes to, otherwise you can feel it with your finger. They all need to be hooked up for your vents to work properly.

Only use what weight is on the cap. If you have higher mileage, use a high mileage (HM) oil. It will have seal conditioners and additives to increase film strength when the oil is hot. Better brands will also have more anti-corrosive, acid-neutralizing, and antiwear additives. I def wouldn't run die...

Ya Im not feeling the rims but thats a pretty good price for a low mileage truck. I found one once for 8300 with only 32k miles but it was from upstate NY and rust was all other everything. All the good ones are usually over 10k.

i might of missed it by skimming quick, but are you re-pinning the stock harness or splicing in a donor v8 harness? I repinned the ECM connectors with the wires from the V8 injector plug. Def do the lower intake while youre in there, if its real bad youll see coolant seeping around the back drivers corner. Once you pull the intake off youll almost always see gasket separation around the intake and coolant ports, its just a matter of time before it fails entirely.

The spider injectors/regulator in the intake is the most common problem with long cranking issues. If you have it replaced, get the upgraded unit which moves the actual injectors to the intake runner, rather than the injector/poppet setup from factory. You may have worded your statement backwards. In the stock location, the stress is shared between the bolts and control arm, once you flip it, all the stress is on the bolts. I can't say that Ive ever seen the bolts break but hey, anything can happen.

Flipping the balljoint results in no lift, all it does is returns the upper control arm back closer to the original position from factory, keeping alignment in check and also allowing for more droop before hitting the bumpstop. The bracket does not give you any lift at all, it simply lowers the differential so that the axles dont bind as badly. Its been available for quite some time, at least a year or 2. Also, the user "j27" completed a balljoint flip, which is absolutely needed with that much t-bar crank.

I would cut off the stock frame weld the ZR2 clip on, never in a million years would I bother trying to weld each tab and bracket onto the CC frame. Ive never done the mod but Ive done similar and I always splice the frames.

If the ZR2 axle has a G80 locker in it, its really not very good for an offroad locker. It takes a lot of torque to lock up, youre better off installing an aftermarket locker to get a true locked rear. You dont need to do any gear changes as long as you find a ZR2 rear that matches your front diff.

The Vortec 5.7 doesnt get as good mileage as a 5.3 LS, and it will def not improve around town. Jays truck has it and gets the same mileage as my stock crew and hes lifted 8" on 33s.

You are correct Stucky and as I said, their metal parts are decent (certainly not the best) but their air parts are all garbage. Yep, these late model trannies are built realy soft, Im going to throw the servo and maybe a shift kit in mine to stiffen it up a bit, just to make it less mushy.

Yep my truck recently had this same problem, replaced it with an off the shelf plastic one from Advance. The aluminum is better because it doesnt strip the holes out as easily but I couldnt wait to order it.

The blower motor is under the hood, on the pass side of the firewall. Youll need to take out the inner fenderwell to replace it, so it takes a bit of time but not hard to do. Just wondering 2 things, first, why did you replace the master? You could have deleted the ABS using the stock master. Also, are the parts shipping from UK? If so, thats a hell of a shipping cost lol

x2 on intake manifold gasket. only other thing back there are freeze out plugs and they dont go bad as often. Id flush the dexcool and run the regular green, but def dont mix them.
