weight of the tire plays an important role too but I always think that the lighter the tire, the less mileage you will get out of it. I have 3.42 with 31" BFG that really measure 30.2" i think. the truck always downshifts going up hills on the highway but I still manage 16-17mpg

wheel play from top to bottom...If there is wheelplay froms side to side, it could probbaly be your tie-rods..if it has play all around..it could be a combination of both or your wheel bearings...keep an eye on them

he should have left it like it was when he first did the SAS.. He had 35's and an axle under spring up front. Truck was maybe 6-10" higher than normal and looked really well built and street worthy....

truck was built in florida and is now in wisconsin... I know that truck gets alot of praise on this site but why would the 2nd owner (from warnoffroad) trade it in that quick? it could very well be the wheel bearing. I had replaced mine at 53k just recently. Jack up the front of the truck and see if there is movement up and down and side to side in the tire. just jack the truck up and see if the wheel has some play top to bottom and side to side. If not, than its something else. That noise could be something in the suspension. T bar, A-arm bushings, ball joints?

My SES light came on constantly and I ended up with a new motor. The code will still be in the system until is has to be cleared. I was told that the light will stay lit until 5-10 ignition cycles (when the code isn't thrown again) but it is still stored into the computer.

i have the aluminum.. It is very quiet but i still get road noise from the tires. Windows all up, stereo at a decent level, you won't hear a thing but the rattles from the dash and door :lol:

I used dynomat. They have complete car kits for like $400 or so. I did the doors, floor, rear panel, pillars and some of the firewall (what i could reach). It works well but people consider it expensive..It is mostly used in the audio industry..

All i can help you out with is that it will probably take 8-10 hours. Maybe less with the experience those guys have on trucks...Luckily, there was a local shop at my school that charges $8 per hour for a bay with a hydraulic lift and I did the install myself.

ahh.. I think it looks sharper without it. I would have to agree that the pewter/black combo looks killer on our trucks but I wouldn't over-do it with the window pillar and posts. If thats how you like it than give it a shot but i like it better with color up to the roof

I would not take that truck off-road...Too much time and money involved. With the lift, supercharger, 35's, shiny paint job and a great sound system, I don't know if it will see any dirt roads....KCustom???
