Installation Help: Neutral Safety Switch
To make a long story short, my back-up lights have stopped working. Grounds are good, fuses are perfect, whats left is the reverse light switch which is found in the Neutral Safety Switch. I haven't picked up the part yet, but is it just a matter of unplugging it from the tranny and plugging the new...

Actually I think he took a 2wd and SFA'd it. The blue and orange powdercoated parts appear to be his K5. I could be wrong though. Your right. Notice the rear differential cover on the K5 and then the S10. http://home.comcast.net/~krichards1015/K5rear.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~krichards1015/s10re...

Re: BodyLift, Backspacing and Tires
So how big a tire do you experts think I could use in this "theoretical" wheel situation in combination with the 2" BL and 1" T-bar crank (that I'm doing tonight): A 15X8 wheel with 4" of backspacing. If my math all works out it would be out 3" farther than stock. I'm thinking of using like a 265/7...

What kind of money are you wanting to spend? I bought the Cragar 397s which are black but they sale the exact same wheel in chrome which are Cragar 398s. Summit racing has them for $49.95 each. They are 15X7 with 4" BS and the bolt pattern is 5X4.75. The black ones are only $35.95 each. You'll also...

I guess we need to know your preferences. If you are desiring a better sound then my advice will not help you at all. Our converters are free flowing compared to yesteryear. Eliminating them will not help much. Best performance for the 4.3L with an exhausrt modification is single 2.5 to 3 inch catb...

I think I need new wheels...what does everybody like?
Looking to get some new wheels/tires this summer. I think I'm going with some 30" Pro Comp AT or BFG AT. What I'm not sure of is what wheel to go with. I want to keep it at 15" diameter and I'm thinking it should be polished aluminum or chrome. So what is everyone's opinion on aftermarket wheels? Wh...

TTT because I think my right front wheel bearing quite on me last night. For the past couple of days I've been hearing a humming noise coming from that tire at speeds over 35 mph. Last night it started making a clunking noise. Slight side to side movement in my tire. Hobbled to the nearest parking l...

Problem with my e-brake release
On really cold mornings when I try to release my e-brake (try to) it won't release. I have to pull and hold the release handle with one hand and with the other hand I have to pull the e-brake pedal up and sometimes it doesn't want to budge  Is there a spring that needs replacing or does som...

Towing question...how will my Blazer hold up?
We are buying a new snowmobile trailer. Its the same as the blue one on this page: http://www.actrailers.com/pages/snowmobile2.htm except its 12' long. It can fit up to 3 sleds in there. Roughly each sled weighs 500 lbs and the trailers weighs 1600 lbs, so we're looking at 3100 lbs total all loaded ...

I now have disabled the DRL's and have Quad Beam Headlights!
OK, I have now successfully disabled the DRL's and have Quad Beam Headlights. The only thing I had to do different was what Jacob from ZR2.com did: "The quadbeam mod calls for grounding the low beam yellow wire either directly or via a relay. I used the relay approach, where the relay (85)is trigger...

Do you have low beam DRL? There is a thread going on ZR2.com- Update on DRL mod combined with Quadbeam Mod Before I did the quad-beam mod I had high beam DRL's, but after I did that I had low beam DRL's. Just for haha's I straightened the pin back out and now my DRL's are back at the high beams. I'...

Did the quad beam mod, now i don't want any DRL's..
I have a 2000 Blazer and I did the quad beam headlight mod according to the diagram on the Modifications page. Prior to doing that I had disabled the DRL's and AHL's. I folded over one of the pins on the DRL relay in the fuse box, and to disable the AHL's I put in a resistor in the sensor (in the ri...

OK guys I know this topic has pretty much been beaten to death but I want to make sure before I buy these. 1.25" spacers for the rear of my blazer. I want to eliminate the gap as much as possible. adrenalnjunky - I just wanted to comment on how good your blazer looks. I'm going for the same look, but don't think I want to do the 2" bodylift so i'm gonna stick with an add-a-leaf kit and t-bar crank. Do you think I will be able to fit those same tires with the mods I have said and not rub? Grea...

Sorry to bring up a post from the dead, but I've got some questions... I have a 2000 4-door Blazer and am considering this kit or one from a local shop.
