I think they could have gone with a more aggresive design like they have in the '06 (mine ) but I don't think they are ugly. I definately like the `07 Avalanche much better though.

I used to have to remove my tint before inspections when I lived in PA. It's a bit of a pain. Just peel what you can get a hold of first. Then you have to use a razor blade window scraper. Get yourself a good quality adhesive remover and lots of rags because you'll have tons of glue on the windows. ...
