i read this forum almost every other day to see what ppl are doing to thier CC's.. After seeing how the SL6 looks so good on the crews i almost wish i kept her and pushed harder to get the lift

well fellas, i hate to admit it but my 03 s10 zr5 is gone.. during the two years i had it i managed to ileast put a flowmaster exhaust on as well as a K&N CAI, along with a alpine IVA-D900 dvd player... i was going to get the SL 6" along wit the PA 2" and toss some 33s on her after i got my scholars...

I was looking at the new colorados and then saw one in person and i didnt like it at all... so i went one step up and got an 03' Silverado SS

go with a super 40 muffler... they flow better and are louder... i think you can go to any midas now since they officially carry flowmaster products .. i guess thier "raven" exhaust they carried wasnt selling well

I have a 40 series swapped in for my stock muffler. It is considerably louder when accelerating and a little louder when idle..... as for performance i noticed none... and far as mpg I got aorund 1 or 2 mpg.. (i also have K&N fipk intake).

I was looking at the same thing once, and found that the lift is horrible and the company is even worse. A dodge dakota had thier lift and couldnt even drive it after the install. Even worse is the company, theyll send you missing parts etc and not even pick up the phone! Definately not the best cus...

Yea I was going to add the new magnaflow cat-back that just came out. They also claim that it adds 12 hp but who knows.

im just looking around and powerdyne superchargers make them for the 97-00 model for 2300$. Can this work with my 03? On powerdynes website they also have them for 00-02 but its 4300$. Would any of these work if i have a 03?

oh and BTW, how much of a powerloss is there with getting 33's?

well if i got 33's id get prob the 4.10 gears. For tires would it be better to get 33 x 12.50 or 33 x 10.50? The mud terrians dont come in the 33 x 10.50 so id get the wider one. What do you guys think?

He didnt order it yet, he told me to call him back next week when hes home from vegas. And yes, i know that the higher the truck is the higher the center of gravity is. Cant u fix that by getting wheel spacers and having the wheels jut out further?

im getting the 6" Superlift and 2" body lft and hopefully ill be able to fit 35's on there. I also have the zr5 so i have those flares (even though i dont think they make that much of a difference)

Oh ok, i was hoping to put 33's on there. Wow, the possibility of 35's on my truck sounds awesome. Would a shop put both a Body lift and a suspension lift on? I heard that shops wont mix lifts. Plus, to run 33's or even 35's what gears would i have to swap too?

Forgot to add, but when i called my local shop (Meadowlands 4wd) they told me theres a $1800 charge for an exhaust mod they have to do with this new lift. Does anyone know what the mod is for the exhaust that could possibly blow me 1800 bucks?
