I'm sure that they make recovery straps for the ATV crowd. They purposely stretch so a lot of the shock is eliminated using the "giving it slack and running at it" method.

Brule, have you taken weight into consideration with those Nittos? I don't know much about the tire sizes that you are dealing with but, they are extremely heavy in the 16" sizes and many shy away from them.

That may be one of those '02s, that I found, that didn't come with the torsion bars. The wheels are definitely 2WD OEM ones.

I have been sad to see many different brands gravitate toward less expensive suppliers................ I really do not see any end in sight with the situation. Quality parts, when there is a demand, are outrageous. Where there is a demand, as in heeps, you can get a replacement axle Ujoint for $6.9...
