Do we know, for sure, the yokes are aluminum? If, they aren't a small tack weld on the caps will hold them. I know that the main shaft is aluminum.

I've always had a problem with people multi-tasking and driving. For crying out loud, you can get a bluetooth headset, at Big Lots, for 10 bucks. Instead you sit at a 4 way stop with 3 other people that can't hit the turn signal, to give you a clue about their intentions, because they are talking on...

The easiest and safest method would be a car/truck dolly and disco the rear drive shaft at the axle and tie it up, out of the way.

Not to minimize your issue, but how bad are the cracks, really? These have a three ply sidewall. That is pretty substantial............ Start soaking all the fasteners. with PB Blaster or Seafoam Deep Creep, daily while you await the kit to arrive. Your location and the age of these trucks will make rust a constant enemy.

Forget the RC lift. It will be an exercise in futility, that others have tried, and reported back failures. Save your money and either go the MML route or save up more money and throw some real solid axles under the CC.

Nitrogen is a scam, I agree. I always "air" back up with CO2 but, there are a few that carry tanked nitrogen and want to debate the issue. Campbell became the first repeat winner of the KOH (King Of the Hammers) this year. He was running the GY MT/Rs. They do chunk out on rocks, though. ................my new rig I am stuck with the stock 17" wheel and quite a limited range of tires from which to choose......... Actually 16" wheels and tires are becoming limited, as well. I just went through the agonizing task with my other rig. I needed new tires but, wanted to get beadlocks down...

Everyone here has recalibrated using a Hypertech programmer. Not even sure we have a speedo gear like a lot of the heeps use on their 231 and 242 transfer cases. You might Google Yellr Box and ask them. I use the Yellr box on my heep and it is around $100 and works great. Jeepers and bike owners use...

My routine is 1/3 into the brake booster vacuum line (without killing the motor) and turn it off. Pour the other 2/3 can into the fuel tank. Let it set for 5-10 minutes and fire it back up. If, it is very high mileage engine with, unknown history, and you pour it into the crankcase....you might witn...
