I was thinking of putting a engine block heater on my crew and I saw on GMPartsDirect.com(GM PART # 12371293) for 38.64. Would installing this item be difficult? After paying my dealer $24.99 for my last oil change I have decided to do them myself. My question is that my book says the Vortec V6 4.3L holds 4.5 quarts of motor oil(mines a 2003 crew cab) but my friend has a 2000 Extended cab(same engine) and he just puts in 5 quarts when he changes the oil so w...

Replaced all 4 stock shocks on 6/15/04 with the Rancho RS5000's I got for $32.95 a piece. I noticed a difference right away with them. I think they are nice firm ride and not nearly as "mushy" as the stock Delco's. Overall Im very happy and I would recommend Rancho RS5000's to any S10 crewcab member.
