I just replaced my sound system 2 weeks ago. I did it over 2 weekends because I bought most everything off ebay and the shipping dates were all over the place. It could be done in a weekend. Pretty much the same as wamason except I didn't remove my front seats. I ran the speaker wires down each side...

I have run both 87 and 91 here in so. ca. I actually get a little better gas mileage with 91 when I don't keep my foot into it. Have not heard any knocking with either.

I will bump that average up a notch. Hit the big 50 next week. Don't feel a day over 42. And I love my CC. Almost bought a Toy CC but you see them all over the place. I have only seen a few s-10 crews around and the lifeguards use them on the beaches (San Diego, ZR2's). Not much into hardcore 4 whee...

I picked up a 2002(non zr5) with 19,000 miles in Dallas last Sept. Paid 16,500. Great deal and still with factory warranty. Saw it on ebay.
