Re: New wheels need help
I just ordered some new black steel wheels and they are 15X8 with 4 inches of backspacing and -12.00mm offset. I am running 31 x 10.5 x 15 Kumho mud tires on the new wheels. Currently on my truck I have the stock wheels and tires with 2 inch rear spacers and 1.25 inch front spacers. I have the 2 in...

Well....I don't think it's the transmission anymore
I was driving home tonight and my truck started doing the same thing I mentioned in an earlier thread. Almost like a total loss of engine power for just a fraction of a second. I got home and let the truck idle in park, and the engine kept sputtering at random, like it was about to die. I let the tr...

Removal of Air/Smog pump
Hey everybody, I have a ?. I'm considering removing my Air/smog pump. From everything I've read, it's useless to replace them. I can live with an SES light on as I scan my PCM every few weeks or so. My questions here are: 1) What all is involved in the removal of the pump? 2) What size belt will be ...

That's the best way to level the truck. I doubt you'll have any problems with 3/4" to 1", as long as they're not cranked up already. Check your Z height measurements and stuff to make sure your bars aren't cranked already if you bought your truck used. If that's the case, you may just need to let on...

Overdrive troubles
Not really sure how to describe this problem, but when in overdriver, my truck periodically shakes. By shake I mean that it feels like the tranny downshifts for just a fraction of a second. Not enough to cause a jerk, but very noticeable nonetheless. It only happens when my truck is in overdrive, mo...

A word of caution if you want to mount a battery in your toolbox. I have done this, and while it works fine, our truck beds aren't the sturdiest in the world.
