I have the TM lift with 31s and my mpg is about 16 on highway and maybe 10 in the city. I changed from 32 MT to 31 AT and noticed an improved change in handling and no rubbing. Now after all of the cost of the lift and trying to play catch up with performance, I can't afford my sub and new head unti...

Back spacing vs spacer
Maybe I am not understanding backspacing correctly, but what is the difference between a wheel with less backspacing and putting spacers on a wheel with more backspacing. Lets say you bought aftermarket rims with 4 in of backspacing. How would that be different from putting 2" spacers on the stock w...

well I think that the problem for you and I is that this truck is also our daily driver. I just drove from Boston to Washington, DC and the whole time I was white knuckling the steering wheel for fear that the truck would suddenly pull of the road at 80 mph. I have seriously been considering trading...

I have the 5" TM lift with just 31's and I often times feel like my steering is alittle unstable. For example if I am driving on a road and hit a little bump while turning it can feel like the wheels are jerking sideways. I am just adding my comment to this thread cause I always wondered if the lift...

Alright, I never put my 2 cents in, but I have to now. I was a truck virgin about a year ago and wanted a Tacoma but did not have the dough. So I got our truck and hated the way it looked for months. I finally just sucked it up and got a 5" TM lift. It totally changes the truck look and feel. If the...

Trailmaster lift
just wanted to update you all on my quest for a lift. I took Paul's idea and got the Tm 5" lift. I currently have 32" BFG MTs on there. There will be more to come. Sorry about the photo quality I was anxious to get a pic up so I just put together a crappy website in 2 min. There will be better pics ...

Paul, thanks for your post. I basically want your truck (except mine is in red). Do you know how I could find out if there is any real difference from 01 to 04? I actually called the dealership and they were not helpful at all. Did you search a GM catalogue? Second, I am not sure if I am capable of ...

I took a look at your cc which let me say looks awesome. I am really on the fence about a suspension lift vs just doing a body lift. One of my thoughts was a 3" bl with some tbar cranking and rear shackles to try and get 31 or even 32 on. It looks like from the pics that you seem to have no problems...

2004 crew cab suspension lift
Hello, I just bought a 2004 crew cab. I am interested in a 5" suspension lift. I actually called Truckin suspension and they said that their 4.5/5" lift kit for non zr2 s-10 should work. Does anyone have any info on whether this is a decent kit. I don't just want it for looks I want it for actual of...
