Could you explain more about the foot clunk? And by "torsion bar x-member hitting", do you mean these two are hitting each other... or is "torsion bar x-member" one piece that is hitting some thing else?

I'm at 48k miles. The noise started while doing slow sharp turns in parking lots, but now happen when turning left or right and while driving over medium sized cracks/bumps/potholes in the road at any speed.
