3rd Brake Light CHMSL

Hey gang, I searched and found a couple of other threads on the subject but they haven't lead to my resolving the problem. A Super-Trooper pulled me over last week just to inform me that my High Mount Stop Light was out. No ticket - just a friendly notice. '03 S-10 CC ZR5. As I often have my 6 yr ol...

Re: Gearing axles bla bla bla

Hi Orlando. I'm researching the same Q? myself and believe that as long as you stay 3:73 in the rear, it will jive with the front end. These have to match on BOTH ends. You are correct that the ZR2 axle length is longer. It's not a 'fitment' problem from what I understand. Plug & Play? There's a coo...

No mods yet, other than painted recovery hooks. Many in the plans, though.

Re: What did you do to your Crew today?

I finished up replacing the 'easy-to-get-to', dry-rotted vac lines under the hood, tossed a few bricks of half-melted snow from the bed, painted my front recovery hooks Red, and slipped a Johnny Winter CD into the dash to check the speakers. Rock Me Baby! :D Life is nice at 60 degrees and Sunshine!

After taking half of the junk off of the inside of the fender, I found it!

Re: Vac line help, please?

HJ - I much prefer feeling for nipples under the edge of a blanket but, I'll try again. :D
Is this hole/nipple to the rear of the fuse block? Is the hole just big enough for the line??

LMs10 - thx for the link with pics but, I still can not find where it escaped from!

Vac line help, please?

I remember seeing this Q here but, not remembering the details, the Search got me nowhere... I'm replacing dry-rotted vac lines this morning. Coming from behind the throttle body, to drivers side, is a 7/32" hose that runs above & between the brake fluid rsvr and master cyl, to a 'T'. One line runs ...

Cat Conv & O2 Sensor questions

Hi all. As noted in my intro post, I recently bought a 2003 ZR5 CC that I'm loving! Yesterday, I had the Cat Converter replaced after chasing codes all over the place. SES light is off :D and she has more power! 126K miles. As it is a new-to-me, I would like to get certain things squared away so tha...

Thanks for the kind welcome, guys!
HenryJ - it's a small world, you know? I know some folks in Mtn Home, ID by the name of Bricker. Chuck was a gunsmithing instructor when I was in college, early '80s! Know him or his son?

Excited to find this place!

Hi all CCr's! My name is Rob and I am near Mountain Home, Arkansas. In late January, I purchased a 2003 ZR5 in black, one owner (local) with 120K miles for $6000.00. Very well cared for and I'm loving this truck! Pics will come soon - I'm that stoked! Last two were a '98 Sonoma and a 2000 Jimmy SLE....
