All things considered i think the drive train is strong enough... Sure there are more moving parts but if you understand not to floor it in every situation it is fine. I will be putting 35s on mine soon enough after i install my lift kit ill have a minimum of 9 inches lift.. Due to my 3 inch bl

do you hear a hissing sound coming from anywhere when you select floor vents.?? only thing i could think of would be a unhooked or stopped up vac hose.. i think literally everything Hvac wise on these trucks runs off vacuum wish i could help more but ive never encountered this problem with mine.. so...

i did get a fb response from jungle flares confirming my order.. he also said he has a good deal of info for making them work on the 4 door trucks might not be as much modification as i expect.. i did tell them i cut my fenders to clear 33's and knew i'd have to cut the flares to fit the crew cab be...

i used a PA 3 inch kit from summit racing sold as 91-93 ext cab 3 inch body lift.. paid 92 dollars for it.. I'm sure they all use the same nylon blocks rated at 60000 osi or what ever it is...

just installed drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads all around magnaflow " performance " ypipe got for 256 on ebay single converter version for a 2000 blazer 4x4.. fits perfectly everything was great for about a week or so.. but now my abs and brake light is on sometimes and off sometimes... ...

howdy, if its just leaking from the timing cover.. and it runs great.. in my opinion i'd almost consider new timing gears and chain ect.. and new cover... or clean it up really good and rtv the hell out of it lol prolly rtv it honestly.. you gotta practically pull the engine to do the cover anyways....

I think they should be easy enough to modify from my understanding the rear flares are 2.75 inches of atick out and the front are 2 inches if so after trimming they should be perfect

They told me it will fit the crew cab but you have to modify the torsion bar cross member cause at full droop it will contact the transmission cross member that is what rough country told me

you have to remove your headliner and cut the housing out I think its got the same glue/sealant that your windshield is held in with around it... I cant remember the entire process but its a lot easier on a std cab or ext cab because you can just take out the int dome light

Could be the rear end or front end or transfer case ..... Really sounds like the rear tho...I had an ext cab do that Of course I hauled up 2700 lbs in the bed and hauled a trailer on occasion with mine also had one that was lowered 5/6 do that whined when coasting at speeds tho....was pinion... Would be easiest to get the entire rear end and swap it in as long as it has disks and is from a 4x4 otherwise I would get the pinion to go with the carrier and ring so your not mix and match the gears might not have the same wear pattern if you mix match plus you will have to shim it and set the la...

Ok I'm sorry I just read the fender flares post... So with them making the opening smaller I'm guessing they won't fit since I've already trimmed the metal.... But in the pic with the bush wackers on.. Is that the stock size tire or is that a mml truck with 33's ?

It looks horrible but works great if I can ever find a 96ish model with the manual tcase ill grab the cable shifter and console I just cut a slot in my stock console and used the 91 model shifter and linkage will try and post a pic when I he home

I've been looking at the loaded kicker rt shallow truck box and sub its 3-9/16 at the top and 5 or 6 depth at the bottom only 13ish tall I did the blazer leather seat swap front and rear on my CC so I'll have room to spare but I think it would fit... Bottom will with stock rear bench dimensions wise...

Put the bars in ...they are a hex so it doesn't matter how you put them in as long as you put them in drivers side bar on drivers side there should be an arrow on the bar to denote the way it twists and as far as the keys just set them in to where the arm almost is even to the key holder slot it sho...

Well Henry you were definitely right about the encoder motor I push the buttons and they just flash.. If I push 4hi or low both hi and low lights stay lit up you can here the motor engage but it wont make a full cycle to 4hi... I can force it into 4 lo and it will do a full cycle for the encoder mot...

well i flushed the trans... it works alot better but it still shifts out at about 3k-3500 rpm under WOT...and if your going at hwy speeds and floor it to pass someone it wont downshift automatically... you can manually shift it at any rpm 4x4 works again... put a need tccm and some tinkering... rema...

they are in good shape fore being 10 years old a few cig burns from previous owner... drivers seat is in ok shape... i'll try to take some pics.... they probably need alot of TLC now... they have been rained on a few times... so they are soaked again... i just dont have storage space for them... i w...

I found a thread on an Astro van forum where a guy removed the encoder motor and made a shaft that fit the nub for range selection and ran a cable to the shaft and made a shifter from scratch if I can find it again I'll post a link but I just Bing searched manual transfer case swap for Chevy s 10 an...
