i got it lol i tried the dealer first. the genius at the parts counter couldnt find it. called a different dealer yesterday and had to special order it. thanks

well i took the axle shaft and tube apart from the diff and man was i glad i decided to check it out because i found this. http://i428.photobucket.com/albums/qq3/aww_420/S10%20ZR5/photo38.jpg This is such a common problem but i only see people replacing the vacuum switch and never replacing the gear...

Yeah I skimmed through that one killian, A lot of warranty talk and mine doesnt fall into that catagory lol but it definitely helped me locate it. When i took it out i did inspect the lines for atf fluid and didnt see any signs of it. but the switch didnt have an o ring on it which i thought was str...

Problems with 2 wheel drive

Hey everybody i recently started having an issue with a grinding noise on the highway. Only in 2 wheel drive and when i switch to 4 wheel it stops. I searched everywhere and found a few articles and im pretty sure its the vacuum switch on the transfer case not allowing the 4 wheel to completely diss...

I started reading up on it after you mentioned it. so much info lol Not too pricey of a mod either especially for what you get in return. just dont want to lift it too much but 2 inch lift doesnt seem to be much.

I wasnt planning on the lift but i am open to it, especially if needed. Why is the lift a good idea? and can i use the stock hitch from any s10 truck or blazer from 98-04 or does it have to be a zr5? thanks for the heads up $50 sounds nice lol

oh ok i gotcha, i thought it went were the bumper bolts the the frame but i didnt know it went in between them. sounds good ill make sure i have my bro near by for slave labor. the other ones i saw were talking about drilling the frame and stuff so ill definitely look into ones like the one you sugg...
