Does anyone know if the radio on the 2003 S-10 has external inputs on the back? I am looking for a way to directly connect my iPod to the radio amplifier. I currently use a tape cartridge that does it but way to much hum.

I have done the HyperTech upgrade so my speedometer is correct. I get 15 mpg in the city and about 18 mpg on the highway. I would like to find ways to boost that up. I would be excited to see 18 and 20 instead.

Got it done today. Drilled the 3 holes on each side and put in the new hitch. Went off without a hitch. :lol: Looks good. Also got the side bars raised today. Just another day of mods.

I got the two rear shocks today and installed them. Will see how it rides tomorrow. My guess much different as working the Bilsten's was really hard. The old ones just moved in no problem. They never did extend back out. Pretty sad that a new truck has bad shocks on it.

HenryJ. What was the part number and manufacturer of the trailer hitch you were referring to? I know it is a 3 piece hitch but need to find it as soon as possible. Lots of work waiting here for me when I got back. Also will post pictures of the new cover this evening. It looks great.

Well I made it in one piece. I am at the Best Western here and they have high speed internet access. I talked to HenryJ and we are getting together at 6am tomorrow morning. I was able to get the 2 front Bilstens but not the rear. So I need them and the spacers. Not a biggie. This is going to be fun....

It cost me $250. I like it. Much cheaper then Rhino. My guess they are about the same. The local company here that does it and they do both recommends this as the Rhino fades in our area of central CA.

I just did that to mine. The holes are about a quarter inch. 2 on each side. When they did the superliner on mine they covered them completely. I didn't like the bed liner that came stock.

On the CV joint subject. I am going to raise the front 2 inches with the torsion bars. Lots of discussions on premature failures of the CV joints. Is their any facts to this.
