Rare crewcabs
I have seen several crew cabs around my area. I saw a white ZR-5 when I was leaving work tonite, and I've also seen a black ZR-5 running around town, a couple of white regulars, several pewter ones. I'm the only person that I've seen with the dark cherry red metallic, and I'm also the only person wh...

Color scheme
Well, my color scheme is really strange. My truck is Dark Cherry Red Metallic. Everything that I've painted on the truck is bright yellow, cuz I have aftermarket speakers that have yellow cones, and I thought it would be cool to match my other accent stuff to those. Besides that, I've got plenty of ...

Window sticker
I have been kicking around a design for a window sticker to put on my truck as I show it fairly regularly, and I want people to get exposure to the S-10 Crew Cabs. The design that I've been considering, I'm not sure if would work on anybody elses truck, because I'm doing my truck in a defined color ...

Diamond Edition Grille Guard
I've seen one of the Jimmy Diamond Editions up close. This guy pulled up to my lumber canopy at work to have some stuff loaded in one. It was SWEET!! Besides the grille guard, it had these sweet diamond stitched leather seats.

Airbags
Yeah, my mom almost had her wrist broken when the airbag in her van deployed. I've heard lot's of bad things about them, but they do save lives in accidents (better minor injuries than serious injuries or dead). The airbag system is also one reason why you need to get some kind of frame mounted brus...

Fender flares
I know that FabTech makes a fiberglass replacement front fender, but they don't make a rear fender. I've been thinking that when I get ready to lift my truck, I'll go ahead and put on some new fenders, and get them paint matched.

Shocks
How many miles did you guys get on your stock shocks before you found it necessary to replace them? It's gonna be awhile before I do anything else to my truck, but I've been thinking about replacing the shocks being the next thing that I do. My truck has about 18,000 miles on it, and as far as I kno...

Black out hood
Ok, I understand what you're talking about now. I've seen the effect you're talking about. I'm thinking about putting a supercharger on my truck, and if I did that, I'd but on a functional ram air hood. I like the look of the ram air hoods, but I'd want mine painted the same color as the rest of my ...

Very funny. I guess my attitude is just rubbing off on my truck.

Body lift
The body lift does look good, but I'm holding out for a suspension lift. Everybody that I've talked to about serious off-roading says that supsension lift is the way to go. I'm wondering just how much trouble it will be to modify one for a regular S-10 to fit our trucks. I know Paul has the 5" Trail...

Hinge pin
Well, I would completely understand if my top hinge pin was sliding down, but the bottom hinge pin sliding up? That goes completely against the laws of nature!!! Sorry, I'll probably take it to the dealer this afternoon and see what they say about it.

Warranty issues.
I have not had the kind of problems with my truck that you guys have (knock on wood). The only real problem that I have had is that the lower hinge pin on the drivers front door keeps popping up out of the hole. Which I really don't understand because it goes down into the hole. I've been meaning to...

Seats
I have to agree with Hobie. I'm glad that the undercarriage parts take up some of the room inside the cab, it doesn't bother anybody that has ridden in my truck. The truck sits low enough as it is, if the parts sat down any lower than they do, you'd lose something real important the first time you w...

Clear corners
I don't know about the areas where you guys live, but I have not been hassled at all about my clear corners, and I don't have the amber reflectors. I have seen sets that have crystal clear lenses in front and an amber reflector on the side, but mine have the diamond cut front and side lenses with cl...

Headlites
I've installed the Eurolite Xenons in both my highs and lows, and I always run with my fog lites on. I never get flashed from anybody, but I don't normally tow anything either. By the way, your passenger side should be just a little higher than your driver side because it helps to extend your field ...

3457 & 3157
The difference between these two bulbs as I understand it is the base of the bulb. The 3157 is the traditional bulb that is used in brake lights on most every car ever made, the 3457 has a special base that only GM cars require. I ran into this same problem when I thought about putting LED bulbs in ...

Clear corners
The one's from TruckNVans are APC brand. They are the ones that are all clear with diamond cut lenses. I'm not sure about the amber bulbs, the set comes with replacement amber bulbs, so unless you just specifically want l.e.d. bulbs, you shouldn't need any for awhile. Lee

Leaking oil lines
I have a 2001 and have not had any problems with leaking oil lines, but, I bought it as a lease return when it was already a year old, so it may have happened before I got it. I use Quaker State 4x4 10w-30 synthetic oil, and haven't had any problems.

I have the clear corners on my truck
I picked up a set of the APC clear corners for use with factory fog lights at NOPI for $25. If there are any car shows in your area anytime soon, you should look there first because they always have better deals than anyone else. If you're really wanting to get them soon, try TruckNVans.com . That'...
