I'm also considering this. Where is this up fitter manual?
My ZR2 body is rusting away, but the frame is good and only 10k on the drive train. Have a 4-person family.

Re: motor mounts
I've had good luck with the energy suspension poly mounts.
I've installed them in the last 4 zr2 trucks I've had.

Re: Water in rear end
The full-size trucks run the vent tube up yo behind the fuel filler door (maybe zip-tied to vent tube where you can't see it). On a Z71, that's 40+ inches off the ground and well protected.

Re: Pre-CAT took out CAT!
I had replaced my main cat with a magnaflow, only to have the pre-cut kill it. Now I have two "ultra high flow" cats.

Re: throttle blade mod, finally
Fyi... if any of you are fans of junkyard shopping, the throttle blade from a 4.8 v8 (silverado) is a perfect fit with no modification.

Re: looking for tow haul button
So I'm revisiting this years later (I'm StevenTruck). I recently got a GMC Sonoma Highrider and I'd love to install this option. For a switch, I just used the column shift lever from a 02 full size truck (plug-n-play). I tried one from a AstroVan and that one actually matches better, but you will ha...

Re: Tow/Haul button......and Auto 4wd
Dealer rate is $80/hour. How much is a new BCM? I wonder if they car reflash (but not alter vin stuff) or current BCMs and just add the fog light control and tow/haul.

Re: Did the throttle blade today-results
I have done this on two trucks. On the one with the manual transmission, I love it. On a blazer with an auto, it's okay. I love the throttle response, but because you can use less throttle, the TPS makes the tranny upshift too soon. With the tow/haul mode activated on that vehicle it was okay, but I...

Re: Tow/Haul button......and Auto 4wd
I'm re-visiting this topic. I recently got a 2002 ZR2 pickup (with 233 and and automatic transmission). Since there was/is a lot of discussion here on this mod, I thought I'd check it out. I actually helped contribute to this thread on page two (I was Steventruck... but I couldn't get my username/pw...
