When I got the bumpstops, part number 15712438, they didn't come with the cups... So I went back to get a set... Guess what I got yesterday... I partially blame the kid behind the parts desk at the Chevy dealership.... I went in there the other day and was way more persistent about finding these bump stops. Re: Rear window
How many times do you think you can redo it for that price? Even if you have to take it out and try again, I would think you will still be money ahead. They are wanting to rape you on this.

Indigo: is that a leer topper? Does it have a dome light in the center at the back? If so, where did you run power from? I never have wired mine up...

Re: _STUCKY's junk
Small update. Last weekend I went and grabbed the skid plates off of a 96' zr2 regular cab. I didn't get the brackets for the rear of the engine skid plate and the one for the gas tank is too shallow. It could probably be made to work, but I probably won't mess with it, I'll just find another at som...

Re: How much for...
I had considered that. Some angle iron with gussets would do the trick. Is there any way to get measurements of the stock bracket? Like the heighth from the base to the center of the vertical hole?

Re: How much for...
Well.... I didn't get the brackets.... And I don't think the fuel tank skid will work without major modification. It's not deep enough. The holes on the crossmember for the transfer case skid, I used a 3/8 tap to make threads. It worked out great and is the only one I got mounted today. As for the b...

So I guess I'm gonna go snag the skid plates. Anything else on it I should look for?

I don't think people tell you enough times daily, but you are awesome. You should get told that at least 14 times a day.

Re: How much for...
Hmmm..... Looking at the mods page for the skid plates, it says the front skid won't work, no problem since he doesn't have it... What about the others? It says extended cab skids, I'm guessing I shouldn't even bother

Re: How much for...
Perfect! Thanks Brule. I didn't expect input that quickly. The pirate4x4 guys would scoff at paying that much for a 10 bolt. I may still go see what I can get off of the truck. He said the front skid plate is already sold, but has the others. No 3 piece hitch. Tires and wheels already sold. I asked ...

How much for...
I saw on Craigslist today a guy parting out a 96 zr2. I inquired about the rear axle. He says it has a Richmond locker, 3.73 gears, and 100,000 miles. With the leaves, he wants $400. This seems awfully high to me. Can't think of a better group of people to ask, so.... How much should I counter offer...

I had time to put the new Brown Dog motor mounts in the YJ today. http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u422/_STUCKY/95%20yj/497d3e90.jpg And I had time to play a little. http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u422/_STUCKY/95%20yj/a7f694a5.jpg http://i1067.photobucket.com/albums/u422/_STUCKY/95%20yj/5395...

Ooooooh my god! I just spent over an hour typing out a report from Attica! Went to upload pictures, and lost it all!!!! I am not typing it again so let's do the cliff notes: My beater jeep is fancier than everything I wheeled with, what with my fuel injection and auto, power windows, coil springs an...

Re: _STUCKY's junk
The Comanche is most likely not going to be ready for the Attica trip. I still haven't messed with the brake lines or vacuum lines. There are a few other things it would need also. If I get the time to mess with it this week, I'll do what i can. On the yj, I ordered up the polyurathane motor mounts,...

Re: Slys 95 CC Dimarado
I'd like to see what all you have done to the frame, how tall are the tires ( not the sidewall size, but the overall height of them), and your air setup. It looks good. Was the link suspension a kit or did you make it? Edit: I see the rear axle has disks, what is it out of? And why the v belt system...

Re: _STUCKY's junk
Well I swapped in a 92+ XJ Cherokee radiator, it went flawlessly. I didn't have to change any hoses. I did however eliminate the heater and AC. And I saw the yj has a worn out motor mount. The search is now on for polyurethane motor mounts for a 4 cylinder yj. Sometimes I feel like I have too many p...

Re: _STUCKY's junk
I've been messing around with the MJ the last couple of days. The picture I put up a while back was its first outing. I had let my buddy drive it since his CJ was down for the count, he blew the radiator... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48SN3BSbE20 So it sat until I put the 31x10.5 Goodyear authori...
