I had a rough idle until I replaced the alternator. The weights were laying inside. That and head gasket kit. My MPG went from 14 to 17-20. With mine if i had it in park and pushed and held down the gas pedal in the same position the idle would jump around +/- 300-400 rpm. Maybe try that

All i can help you with is saying that yes that plate on the driver side should be removed to take the old seal out and replace. Its just those bolts and comes right off. Hightemp/oil resistant silicone on the that gasket for the plate if you think need be. I put a small bead on

Couple questions on PA body lift
When putting the front bumper back on i simply bolted the side mounts back in their old position, couldnt figure out how to incorporate the square flat stock that was supposed to be incorporated. Any problems with this? Also I'm wondering if it will be safe to transport my dirtbike in the bed still....

If you have air tools a cut off wheel works good, second would be sawzall just make sure you see what your cutting well (or could be.) Same thing happened to me with the nut spinning. I was able to get a nut up in their and hold it down with a screwdriver while staring the bolt in.

Yes, basically if you wanna change lanes right now you can hold it down without locking it and it will flash, but you must hold it down and then let go when your done. I still like how the factory front bumper looks when you trim off the sides and lower portion. I think a2b was the first one who did this mod. I'm sure there's a picture of his truck somewhere around here?

Who knows when the last time this filter was oiled.. I wont cause their's hole on the sides worn out from rubbing on the fuse box. Plus I've got my new one coming! I've cleaned my MAF a few times with some CRC spray and will hit it one more time for good measures before I install the new intake

Thanks for the input Steve! Right now I've got a spectre filter clamped on to the stock intake right after the MAF ( previous owner) and I think all that airflow right by the sensor is f### with it

Well I know for fact that I aligned it up with the tab (paint marker'd it) so I cant imagine that would be the problem. Perhaps my vacuum lines are on their last legs in this weather

I have done numerous tests with the last 10 or more vehicles I've owned. In ALL cases the across the board MPG loss is a consistent 8% on 10% ethanol blend gasoline. I've also tried numerous times to run Premium Regular and the MPG gains have always been insufficient to offset the increase in price...

Ya thers definently something up with my truck then. i know my vacumn system is polluted with the dreaded atf. gonna fix that when it warms up. seems to be a slight stumble at idle once warmed. I think i need to clean/replace idle sensor and O2's i suppose. gona perform cat back as well

Well I'm not even getting window sticker mileage for highway and this is what I was worrying about. I've gone on two 160 mile trips recently, both 98% highway and averaged 14-15mpg. After replacing the fuel filter,plugs,wires, and thermostat im still getting 14 mpg highway . Anyone have any other ideas? No SES light and cap/rotor replaced not long ago
