I cant remember what site I was reading this on, but I read that the throttle blade was like that to soften up the touchiness of the throttle, this was an afterthought on GM's part since they thought this vortec engine wasent suitable for there older targeted market, adding the blade on the throttle...

Factory harness, new speaker wire
Here is my question. i ran new wires from the front and rear door speakers to the dash, so the old wires are no longer needed, how would i go about hooking the "bigger" wires to the factory harness with out making a weak point in the wiring?

on that rear seat install crewcabs10, how did you build the box around those wires? or did you clip and take out thouse black spring looking wires?

yea the bazooka tube i got works grea,t i took it out and put a small 10 inch on my back middle seat though cuz i wanted a lil more bump. the only problem with th 250w class D bazooka tube is that it likes 2 ohms resistance, the woofer in the tube, has a 4 ohm resistance, if you want it to bump even...

i live in alaska were half the year is winter conditions. i found that this trucks abs is not what im used to, and actualy makes me stop at a longer distance then i would have pumping my own breaks, now if im going fast down the road and hit the abs, it does help slow down, but when it kicks on when...

yea, thats the hole i was trying to push the wire through, the gromit in there right now is so cold its like plastic. so i gave up on that for the day. going to try next weekend
