Apparently there was some cuts in the outer race of the yoke and the tech removed the race completely and tried to find a sleeve to place over it. No GO!! Although his intentions were probably good I have no way to ver...

The gear lube seems to be very dirty and is not the same weight as when i filled it. Anyone else have this problem? There are no aftermarket seals available so i will have to...

i know the feeling. Once you know its there it bugs you until you find out what it is and how to fix it. Tonight coming home from Atlantic City the winds were very strong blowing towards us as we traveled up the AC Xpressway. Around 70mph i started hearing the wind rattling something from the passen...

Its friday afternoon, and my crew is back. The noise seems to be gone (for now????). I'll drive it for awhile and see. Apparently, GM pays 4.6 hours to the tech to make the changes. I talked to the tech and it took him 2 days. Not sure if it was a full 2 days of working but he did say this was the f...

I just purchased my s10 Crew last Wed. and had it in the shop on Friday because of the same noise. It sounds like a diesel rattle between 1600 and 2000 rpm. The dealer told me that GM knows about this problem and there is nothing they can do. So vehicles have it some don't. Thats pretty crappy mecha...
